Start Call for Entries Romanian Effie Awards 2019

IAA Romania and UAPR present the 16th edition of the Romanian Effie Awards competition. Agencies can submit their works until April 25th 2019. The Awarding Gala will be held on the 10th of June 2019.

Agencies will benefit from a system of discounts that encourage participation in the competition, as follows:

  •  Agencies will not pay the fee for cases that did not have a media budget, submitted in the category Positive Change – Non – Profit; if a work submitted in the Positive Change – Non – Profit category had a media budget, then the participant must pay the entry fee.
  • Agencies that register at least 6 cases in the same deadline have a discount of 10% from the total amount.
  • Agencies that submit an Effie entry after at least a 5 years absence from their last submission in the festival will benefit from a 50 % discount for the first case entered.

Early Bird Deadline: 21st of February – 12th of March

On Time Deadline: 13th of March – 2nd of April

Last Chance Deadline: 3rd of April – 25th of April

Effie Finalists Gala: 28th of May

Effie Awarding Gala: 10th of June 2019

What’s new?

  1. Updated categories:

New entries – Energy (in Industry Categories) and Use of Influencers in Special Categories. Updated definitions for Media & Entertainment, Branded Content, Engaged Brand Communities (the old Engaged Communities).

  1. Updates in the creative materials submissions:

Exceptions added: for a few special categories (Brand Experience, Branded Content, Engaged Brand Communities and Use of Influencers) you can present 120 seconds videos to better explain the idea (telling not selling remains mandatory in all creative reel) –this is valid in Digital (the old „Internet Advertision” section in the Creative Checklist) and Other Advertising Communications.
